Skin Tightening

Your skin is rich with proteins called elastin and collagen. These proteins give your skin structure and elasticity. But as you age, your skin starts to lose its elasticity and you may develop loose skin on the face which results in a sagging face. You may also notice loose neck skin and loose skin under your eyes.

Nonsurgical skin tightening treatments target areas of your skin that have become loose and stimulate collagen production underneath that skin.

Skin tightening can be done to improve loose neck skin, tighten skin under eyes or opt for a full face and neck lifting and face contouring. Skin tightening procedures also reduce fine lines and wrinkles. Pores appear tighter and pigmentation may also appear lighter!

Different types of Skin Tightening treatments:

Ultrasound Skin Tightening

It is a non-invasive procedure which is FDA approved for non-surgical skin tightening and face lifting.

This treatment works by emitting High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) into the deep tissues under the skin. A depth of 4.5 mm is targeted inside the facial skin to stimulate muscle tightening. Then a depth of 3 mm is targeted to melt unwanted fat and sculpt the face. This gives a chiseled jawline and a ‘V lift’. Last but not the least, a depth of 1.5 mm is targeted for fine lines, wrinkles, pigmentation and to shrink and tighten skin pores.

Microneedling with PRP

Microneedling is a procedure which creates controlled punctures in the skin with sterile needles. These tiny punctures carry the growth factors from your PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) deep within the skin to stimulate dermal repair. The result is smooth, firm and younger looking skin; pigmentation reduction and intense glowing skin. Microneedling with platelet rich plasma is particularly effective for fine lines, crow’s feet and dark circles under your eyes.
